i have found the easiest way is to put them into windows paint and save them, then it will allow you to past them. hope this helps..

test chart........
hope this works.....
HOW do you "put them into windows"? HOW do you "save" them? It would REALLY HELP if help were FULLY EXPLAINED!!!!!! PT is very unfriendly when it comes to this, as there is no icon to click on to open the process of saving a screen to a file so it can be saved/sent as an attachment to a post. You'd think PremiereTrade would have long ago been more on the ball with this, but no. So, we need SPECIFIC instructions........PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
Try this........single click on the 'start' button of your computer. Goto 'all programs', then find the 'accessories' file. Inthere should be a program called 'windows paint'. At least that's where it is on my computer. Your computer may have it somewhere else.......I don't know......I'm not a computer guy. Anyway, find 'windows paint' and open it.

Next, goto one of the ptai charts you want to copy. Single click your mouse somewhere in the chart. On your keyboard, simultaneously hold down the 'ctrl' and 'alt' buttons....then press the 'print screen' button onetime while you still have the other buttons held down. Don't worry, this wont actually print anything......its just a way of 'copying' the chart.

Now go back to 'windows paint'. Click on the 'edit' menu. Choose 'paste'. This should paste the chart you just copied into 'windows paint.'

Now goto the 'file' menu in 'windows paint' and click 'save'. You'll be promted to choose a name and place to save your file. I keep mine in the 'my pictures' section.

Now youre ready to load your chatt into jdfn......

When you're in the 'reply to this' or 'start a discussion mode', there's an icon at the top of the window that your typing in.......in fact there are six icons. B IUS, something else, and a little colored square that says 'add image' when you put your mouse pointer over it. Thats the one you want.

Click on it and you'll be prompted to locate an image (in this case a picture of your chart)......click on 'browse'....find your chart........click on it.......click on 'open'.......then click 'add'.............your chart will then be uploaded into your jdfn message... HOWEVER, it will not look like a chart yet! It will look like some weird sord of computer language until you send your message by hitting the 'add reply' button! Dont ask me why.

Boy, I guess that does seem really complicated! I shoulda just let someone from PT explain it to you! It's actually pretty simple once you go through it.....like I said, Im not a computer guy, and I figured it out.

Anyway, hopefully you'll get it and I hope I didn't confuse you more!
Just trying to help!

Thank you for your excellent intructions, Mister H. Much obliged.
Mr. Lambert;

I do apologize that me reply was not detailed enough, I was not aware that you did not understand how to use windows paint. I by no means was intending to come across as (unfriendly) I was only providing the answer to your question. I try to spend as much of my free time helping users on JDFN as I can and adding pertinent information as it becomes available to help traders with a little insight and understanding into what and why the markets are doing what there are doing. So please in the future if my response is not adequate; understand that I do not know what you don’t know and I would be happy to do what ever it takes to help you. All you have to do is let me know.

Sincerely Adam Horak
