I have been having issues with my charts updating correctly.I understand that PT is in the process of changing quote providers but why did they not inform us of this? I had to call tech about my issues; this is when I found out. Why don't they send out a popup with this infolike they do with ads for classes? My 5 minute charts go from10:00 to 10:35 with nothing in between.I cannot trade confidently when I am unsure of the info. I was told yesterday that everything was fine but today is a disaster. Ifyou look at a day chart for any stock you will see the candles go from 8/26 to 9/2; where are 8/27-28-29? AAAHHHHHHH!!!!!

Data feed is down again this morning so I called tech support. They said "we are working on it and sorry for the inconvenience." It seems like it's a little more than an inconvenience since it involves money - it's potentially an expensive issue. Also, they said it was the first time it had happened in months. Mike, I suggest you call them so they have records of the issue. Since we pay for this service, I'm a little concerned.
The data feed is a roach....particularly for the equity markets. I've tried alerting them to 'missing' and other incorrect data in the past......but I've given up. Won't do it anymore. The real value of PT lies in the training.
Last month, I responded to the PT offer of prepaying a year of data feed. That was a mistake. Their FOREX feed is terrible also. I have called and they keep telling me to reboot my system. That is hardly a solution for a continuing problem. If I had told my customers to reboot their mainframes, they would have kicked me out of their building.

They did tell me they were coming out with a fix in a week. Hopefully...
I'm working on getting a new trade and analytics platform set up. I've grown tired of the crappy data feed, rebooting, and having to constantly re-draw all my trendlines etc. I plan on using PT solely to listen to the radio shows, but thats it....the rest of the software is riddled with errors and has been for years......I'm tired of it. Can't believe I've lasted this long!
