If I issue a trailing stop and limit, and close before they are reached.
A message pops up that says "make sure you close stop limits manually". I don't know how to do this.
Consiquently, when the pair reaches this prev. amt. the computer issues a buy order instead of a sell order since there is nothing to sell.
I believe this is what is happening anyhow....
After manually closing a trade you need to go to Trade Details close any orders associated with the trade you just closed. To cancel the Stop/Limit order, just right click on it and left click cancel. Some times it may take a minute for an acknowledgment to come back letting you know the order was canceled. Any Stop/Limit orders that are still open should be highlighted in yellow to make it easy to find them. If you scroll across you will see that one of the columns headings is labeled Status. This lets you know if an order is still open or not as well.
You really should contact customer support on that one.....it's difficult to understand exactly what you're doing.....and what other orders or positions you already have out there. FYI, the software (demo software at least) doesn't support OCO or 'one cancels the other' types of orders.
